We regret to announce that after 26 years of supporting photographers and championing photography throughout the UK, Redeye, the Photography Network will wind down on 31 July 2024 due to a number of factors, including lack of funding. Read our full statement here. We are no longer publishing events. The archive of past events is available below.

Redeye is delighted to introduce a new professional development programme created and thoughtfully put together to address all areas to consider when embarking on a career in photography. At an affordable price, we're keen to welcome creatives to get involved in this important training opportunity.

Hothouse arrives in Leeds for a day-long celebration of photographic talent. Throughout the day there will be short presentations from photographers about their recent work and projects, plus ample opportunity for networking and showing portfolios and books. Redeye is delighted to be working with Miniclick and Lens Think Yorkshire on this edition of Hothouse; they have both contributed to the day’s programming.

Photographic artist Ingrid Pollard joins Redeye to talk about her life, work, and unique approach to photography.

Ingrid Pollard was born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1953 and moved to England when she was four years old. Since then she has lived in London working as a photographer, printer, media artist and researcher.

Future Station – Giles Duley

28 November 2018, 18:00 to 21:00
Liverpool

FUTURE STATION is a free event at Metal, Edge Hill Station that brings together artists, creative thinkers and local community, to share ideas and experiences that could encourage a positive change in society.
On Wednesday 28 November Metal have invited British Humanitarian photographer Giles Duley to talk about his own personal journey from fashion photographer to documenting humanitarian stories and his latest work, sharing the stories of those affected by conflict around the world.

This November, international campaign movement With One Voice is holding the first ever International Arts and Homelessness Summit and Festival. The events are based on the acknowledgement that homelessness is not just about housing and practical ‘house-lessness’, and look to investigate how the arts are being used effectively around the world to reduce social isolation by building social networks and increasing both physical and mental health, improving public attitudes/promoting understanding towards people who are or have been homeless, and enabling homeless people to express themselves so their voice can be heard.

Fourth Year is a series of informal support sessions for recent graduates and people about to graduate from photography courses to gain support for their practice.
