We regret to announce that after 26 years of supporting photographers and championing photography throughout the UK, Redeye, the Photography Network will wind down on 31 July 2024 due to a number of factors, including lack of funding. Redeye February Public Meeting

The next public meeting takes place at 7.30pm on Wed 18th February at The Richard Goodall Gallery, 59 Thomas St, Manchester M4. We'll have all the latest photographic news as well as fascinating presentations from John Perivolaris and participants in Redeye's Summer School. John is a specialist in Spanish and Latin American visual cultures at the University of Manchester and will talk about his work on the Oxford Road Corridor 1999-2003.

Free Public Meeting

The next public meeting takes place at 7.30pm on Weds, January 14th at
the Richard Goodall Gallery (59 Thomas St, Manchester M4). We will have
all the latest photo-related news as well as a presentation by fine art
photographer Paul Kenny. Paul has travelled extensively in Japan, France
and Ireland but his main focus is on the remote beaches of Wester Ross
in northwest Scotland. He has work in some major public and private
collections including Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and the National
Gallery of Scotland.

Redeye is delighted to announce its new season of events for Spring 2004 - as well as the Symposium, there are series of forums, workshops, and critique sessions running through March and April 2004.

Redeye is delighted to announce its new season of lectures this winter by star photographers. NB The talk in Blackburn on 21 Jan 05 by Jananne Al-Ani is cancelled. Her Manchester talk will still go ahead as planned.Download the pdf (below) for more details and a booking form.Here's the line-up:
Kevin Cummins, the well-known NME music photographer, born in Manchester and formerly of City Life (12 Nov 2004).

Next Free Public Meeting - TONIGHT!

The next public meeting takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 27th at The Richard Goodall Gallery, 59 Thomas St, Manchester M4. As ever, we'll have up to the minute news and opportunities and this month's meeting will feature presentations from Lawrence Giles on his acclaimed Time and Tide project that is currently touring the UK. Alongside Lawrence, we'll have Sabrina Fuller showcasing a body of work entitled 'Just Who You Want To Be', which examines the roles people undertake at night in the city. Should be a good evening - it's free to come along and all are welcome.
