Redeye Summer Workshops

10 November 2011, 12:05

Are you committed to improving your photography? Do your ideas need a boost? Are you looking for new inspiration? We're delighted to announce that Redeye will be running its summer workshop series again this July and August, one of the most productive and stimulating events Redeye has put on. Places are extremely limited, so please read and apply as soon as possible.

A small group of photographers will meet on seven Saturdays (starting 12th July) this summer in Preston, thinking about and experimenting with the work they produce, developing a theme, and producing work to exhibition standard which will be shown at the prestigious Harris Gallery. This is all under the expert direction of tutor AJ Wilkinson.

Comments from last year's group included
'incredibly motivating'
'gave me the confidence to get back into taking pictures again'
'really good opportunity for networking'
'great opportunity to discuss ideas'
'gave us the chance to present our work and talk about it'
'it was really interesting to work with a group developing our different intepretations of a common theme'
'we were really proud of the show we produced at the end.'

Application is by email to redeye@good.co.uk, subject Summer Workshops. Please explain briefly why you would like to join the workshops. Once accepted the fee will be £100 per person, £50 concession. Don't worry if you have a holiday planned; this can usually be worked around.
