In these unsettling times we think that it is more important than ever that we stay connected. Redeye hosts regular ‘Stay and Chat’ sessions; remote meet-ups for anyone to discuss the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, strategies for coping and how best to support the photographic community.

Business Models: Can they help us in times of dramatic change?

The first of The Rethink Sessions will aim to tackle a couple of the most common questions we have been asked; ‘How do I fund my practice through the pandemic?’ and ‘How can I respond artistically?’.

Fourth Year is a series of informal networking sessions for early career photographers to gain support for their practice.

Redeye has partnered up with universities in the North to offer support to early career photographers, whether you have recently graduated or need some support in developing your photographic practice.

University of Salford Art Collection is delighted to welcome Anna Ridler to talk about using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in her creative practice. Anna’s work was recently shown in Peer to Peer (Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool and Shanghai Centre of Photography) where she was selected for one of two new commissions for the University of Salford Art Collection.

Juno Calypso is an award-winning photographic artist, working with galleries such as TJ Boulting and Foam Amsterdam, and clients including Burberry. In this talk produced in collaboration with Manchester Art Gallery she will present her work to date.

Redeye has partnered up with universities in the North to offer support to early career photographers, whether you have recently graduated or need some support in developing your photographic practice. Maybe you're looking for advice on your latest project, in need of industry contacts or simply wanting to feel connected to a group of like-minded photographers in a similar situation to your own.
