We regret to announce that after 26 years of supporting photographers and championing photography throughout the UK, Redeye, the Photography Network will wind down on 31 July 2024 due to a number of factors, including lack of funding. What’s changing in your life, and how are you coping? What’s on your photographic radar? What does photography need? What can Redeye do?  Please come and share your thoughts and concerns at one or more of our discussion events.

Hothouse arrives in Liverpool in partnership with LOOK Photo Biennial for a day-long celebration of photographic talent. Throughout the day there will be quick-fire presentations from photographers about their recent work and projects, which will drill down to the substance and inspiration behind a project. Get involved - apply to present, plus there is ample opportunity for networking and to show your portfolios and books.

Photogravure Workshop with Jack Whitwell and Grain Photography Hub

Learn copperplate photogravure in a two day workshop, taught by printmaker Jack Whitwell. You will learn how to expose, etch and print a 10×8 inch sized photograph of your choice.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years, but it has! For our anniversary we will be marking this landmark year by inviting three photographers who spoke at Redeye’s first public lectures to return. It’s a chance to reflect on their photographic careers in parallel to Redeye’s lifespan. The third and final session in the series sees Paul Hill invite David Grinly.

The State Of Photography III Symposium

The State of Photography will consider, explore, debate and review how photographers and photography practice develops and responds in this political moment. How do we look at our world today, how do we collaborate and work with communities and what does the world look like to photographers?

Get informal advice on your career or work during one to ones with experts in the industry. Redeye's Critique Surgeries are aimed at photographers or artists looking for advice and feedback on their work or practice. At this month's session, we welcome guest panellists Natasha Howes, and Bryan Beresford in addition to Redeye Director Paul Herrmann.
