We regret to announce that after 26 years of supporting photographers and championing photography throughout the UK, Redeye, the Photography Network will wind down on 31 July 2024 due to a number of factors, including lack of funding. Read our full statement here. We are no longer publishing events. The archive of past events is available below.

Graduate Takeover is a short season of events, advice and inspiration led by last year’s photography graduates, to help you hit the ground running. It’s free and open to all, especially new graduates and new starters, and co-delivered by RedeyeFuse and Short Supply.

In this session Paul and Rosie from Redeye will talk through how to plan your business model, and use it strategically to monetise your practice and build your career.

Our Careers Clinics are an open space for discussion, each week looking at a different element of running a successful creative practice. On Wednesday the 16th June we are thrilled to welcome Jaheed Hussain, founder of Fuse, and Hawwa Alam, co-founder of The Rice Bowl Collective, to talk about marketing yourself and your work.

We have invited three graduates to talk about their work and their year since graduating mid-pandemic. What can we all learn our adaptations to presenting work online, and what inspiration can we draw from new technologies?

Many people have asked us if there are more affordable alternatives to the "industry standard" imaging and page layout software, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, since Adobe moved to a subscription model.

This event will be an introduction to Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher, developed by Serif in Nottingham, England, and priced at a fraction of their Adobe counterparts.

Belfast Photo Festival presents a bold vision of the future

Festival returns from 3 – 30 June 2021

Belfast Photo Festival, Northern Ireland's premier visual arts festival, will take over art galleries and public spaces throughout Belfast this June with a host of timely exhibitions exploring the role of photography in imagining new visions of the future.

We are delighted to welcome the award-winning director of African Apocalypse Rob Lemkin and the film’s narrator Femi Nylander for the next of our Photo Histories events.

The powerful new film tells the story of a young man’s journey across Africa in search of a colonial killer. The film’s protagonist, Femi Nylander, begins his journey exploring photographic archives that bear witness to the brutal violence visited on the people of Africa by Europeans.

Redeye's Photo Histories is a new strand of events that looks at some of the many histories that photography can uncover. The strand features photographers, archivists, scholars and historians exploring some of the lesser-known and under represented histories of photography.

Our Open Space events are informal discussions focused around subjects important to the photography community.

This time we will look at the accessibility of our online events with the help of artist Anna Farley.
