We regret to announce that after 26 years of supporting photographers and championing photography throughout the UK, Redeye, the Photography Network will wind down on 31 July 2024 due to a number of factors, including lack of funding. Read our full statement here. We are no longer publishing events. The archive of past events is available below.

SEEING THE LIGHT Workshop with Paul Hill and Maria Falconer

31 August 2012, 15:00 to 2 September 2012, 15:00

As photographers we know that nothing would exist without light, but do we really see it and make the most of it in our pictures?

Light can be inspiring and can change your photography if it is creatively and imaginatively used.

On this workshop, participants will become more aware of how to use and control light in order to make better photographs. By improving your photographic vision and awareness of light, you will leave with new work and the confidence to develop your photography further.
