SEEING THE LIGHT Workshop with Paul Hill and Maria Falconer

31 August 2012, 15:00 to 2 September 2012, 15:00

As photographers we know that nothing would exist without light, but do we really see it and make the most of it in our pictures?

Light can be inspiring and can change your photography if it is creatively and imaginatively used.

On this workshop, participants will become more aware of how to use and control light in order to make better photographs. By improving your photographic vision and awareness of light, you will leave with new work and the confidence to develop your photography further.

Paul is one of the UK’s most influential photographers and workshop leaders, who has published several books and exhibited all over the world. Maria is also a very experienced teacher, whose work Keep Her Unnoticed, received much critical acclaim and resulted in her being awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society.

Although the workshop is based in the Lake District National Park, it will not be exclusively centred on the landscape. It will concentrate on you and your photographs by adopting a ‘hands-on’ approach to teaching.
