Andrew will discuss his engagement with the archive, sculptural installations, his interest in the physicality of the photograph and his reasons for making and selecting the works chosen for exhibition and associated publication.

Join the photographers for a tour of the exhibition 'Portrait of a Living Archive', and a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the project archive, including original negatives and contact sheets.

Join specialist practitioner in historic photographic processes, Tony Richards, as he demonstrates Collodion Wet Plate photography, the primary photographic method used from the early 1850s until the late 1880s. There will be demonstrations of the entire process throughout the day, opportunities to sit for a portrait, and browse a selection of historic images from Tony’s extensive collection.
