Tools to Unwind and Refocus with Bethany Moran

Wednesday 27th April 2022; 1pm - 1:45pm

Working life can be mentally exhausting, and it can be easy to forget to take care of yourself in the middle of it all. This new series of wellbeing workshops in partnership with the Photographic Collections Network aims to support anyone working in the sector with tools to help you in your selfcare. Led by wellbeing experts, each session will focus on different techniques and skills to help you find ways to slow down the mind and its anxieties; refocusing on the present. We hope to give you some tools you can take away to access your own mindfulness.

Whether you are still at home and finding it hard to shut off from work. Or, back at the office and struggling to readjust to a more hectic schedule. We hope you come along to our sessions and give yourself some kindness.

In this session we welcome artist Bethany Moran to give you an introduction to yoga, focusing on breathing and bringing you back to the body. Bethany has adapted this session to include chair yoga, so that you can practice at any time, no matter the space.

Bethany Moran is a teacher of Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga. She is breath focused in this area which also informs her singing, of which she is also a teacher.
