On Saturday 29th of October, Redeye's Hothouse arrives in Newcastle upon Tyne for a free, daylong celebration of photography. It's a showcase of new talent and a hive of photographic activity and information. You're welcome to drop in for an hour or two, or stay for the whole event - but please register to be sure of getting a place.

Join us for a day dedicated to spotlighting fresh, photographic content through a series of quick fire presentations from a variety of artists. Spanning fine-art, documentary, conceptual projects and snapshots, our upcoming creatives share their work, whether finalised or in the process of development. It will be an opportunity to experience the current artistic activity of the photographic community, and get a sense of the breadth of talent working now.

"I will feel the ripples of Hothouse for a while - inspiration, reflection, exploration."

"Stimulating, thought provoking, challenging & inspiring. I really did enjoy it."

"Well organised, good mix of photographers at various stages of their careers, good mix of approaches to work, short talks/presentations, so no time to get bored!"
