Call out: Home
 and Shutter Hub exhibition

Shutter Hub is teaming up with Home gallery in Monmouthshire in Wales to create an exhibition of photography called HOME, in support of homelessness charities across the UK. They're asking photographers to donate images that they can print and sell to raise money for the charities, and help more people get the chance to know what home really feels like.

Manchester Open Exhibition 2020, HOME

HOME believes that everyone’s an artist, which is why it's launching the Manchester Open Exhibition – a major open-submission art show which is open to anyone who lives in Greater Manchester. The exhibition will be held at HOME's gallery from Saturday 18 January to Sunday 15 March 2020, with 500+ artworks selected for the show by a selection committee made up of Greater Manchester-based art experts and community representatives.

Open Call: What can you do with an image dataset?, The Photographers' Gallery

The Photographers' Gallery is looking to award three £1000 commissions for the Gallery Media Wall that interrogate and bring new meaning to image datasets. Data/Set/Match is a series of events, workshops and artists’ commissions which explore the significance of scientific image datasets.  

Competition: Science Photographer of the Year 2019, RPS

The RPS is calling for entries for the first Science Photographer of the Year competition. They are looking for eye-catching images that show science being done, show how photography helps science, or how science impacts our daily lives. The selected images will be exhibited at the iconic Science Museum in London.

Call for Applications: Artists’ International Delegation 2019, Denmark

Castlefield Gallery and a-n The Artists Information Company invite contemporary visual artists living and/or working in the North West of England to apply to be part of a jointly programmed Artists’ International Delegation 2019, a seven-day visit to Copenhagen and Aarhus in Denmark taking place from Thursday 29 August to Wednesday 4 September 2019.
