Job Opportunity: Freelance Photographer / Creative Practitioner, The Forge

The Forge requires two photographers/artist practitioners experienced in working within educational settings to join the team as part of a new Paul Hamlyn Foundation-funded Teacher Development programme – Teaching Things Differently. This new programme aims to use photography as a medium to support the teaching of reading and writing skills within schools.

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery (WMAG) invites proposals from artists and groups for its 2020 exhibitions programme. Proposals for exhibitions are welcomed from artists and groups from all disciplines. Please include a budget breakdown in your proposal, including artist fee, materials and any supporting workshops/sessions. WMAG is particularly interested in artists creating a new body of work. If you're proposing work that has previously been shown, please make this clear in your application.

It is specifically for a neuro-diverse adult with varying levels of additional needs, including those who may be non-verbal or require complex support. The commission is open to individuals for whom photography is central to their artistic practice.
