Job Opportunity: Freelance Photographer / Creative Practitioner, The Forge

The Forge requires two photographers/artist practitioners experienced in working within educational settings to join the team as part of a new Paul Hamlyn Foundation-funded Teacher Development programme – Teaching Things Differently. This new programme aims to use photography as a medium to support the teaching of reading and writing skills within schools.

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: Exhibition Proposals

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery (WMAG) invites proposals from artists and groups for its 2020 exhibitions programme. Proposals for exhibitions are welcomed from artists and groups from all disciplines. Please include a budget breakdown in your proposal, including artist fee, materials and any supporting workshops/sessions. WMAG is particularly interested in artists creating a new body of work. If you're proposing work that has previously been shown, please make this clear in your application.

Call-out: Under Exposed, Draft Knot Wake

UnderExposed's first open call, Draft Knot Wake, reflects the unity and support in the art world that they aim to foster. The open call is for photography-based work around the theme of togetherness. In response to the current competitive art sector, you are urged to explore photographically an alternative that is driven by human relations.

Commission Opportunity: In Focus

This is an opportunity for a neuro-diverse adult to create new photographic work supported by Photoworks. It is specifically for a neuro-diverse adult with varying levels of additional needs, including those who may be non-verbal or require complex support. The commission is open to individuals for whom photography is central to their artistic practice.

Call-out: Tales of the Iconic exhibition

Have you ever felt a connection to an unknown person or felt drawn to a place that you’ve never been before for reasons you can’t explain? Tales of the Iconic is looking for submissions based on an inspiring individual or place, to be exhibited throughout Summer 2019 at The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge.
