Redeye is pleased to announce that from the new academic year more emphasis will be placed on their members’ work on the website.

Since the launch of the Redeye membership last year the scheme has grown successfully and curators, buyers and directors throughout the UK and abroad look at and comment on the portfolio pages. In order to support emerging as well as established photographers even more, Redeye will have three new features on their website:

• a weekly changing home page image chosen from the members’ portfolios
• a new column called “Meet a Redeye Member” giving an insight into the lives and careers of emerging and established photographers
• a monthly review of a member’s portfolio image by an established curator or photographer, a writer, educator or museum director

If you wish to benefit from the extra exposure that can be achieved through joining Redeye as a member get in touch. We’d love you to join us. Furthermore you will benefit from numerous discounts to Redeye events as well as from other organisations and businesses; you will have your own profile page online, you will have access to the yearly Redeye Printing Bursary with Rob Sara, great networking opportunities and on top of all you will have exclusive access to commissions and opportunities such as exhibitions. Students and recent graduates can join at just £2.50 a month!

Over the past year, member benefits have included the possibility to have your work exhibited in Conexiones at the Instituto Cervantes, the announcement of the winner of The Redeye Printing Bursary with Rob Sara at the National Photography Symposium during LOOK13 in Liverpool, your work chosen for the Seasonal Greetings, discounts at 17 partner organisations and total discounts of up to £320 at Redeye events.

In addition to this until 30 November a-n, The Artist Information Company, are offering a discount on two different types of membership to Redeye members. Firstly a membership package aimed at Artists and secondly a membership aimed at Arts Organisers. Redeye members can now join a-n for the special price of £31 making a £5 saving (normal price £36). The Artists membership comes with the free PPL insurance, and an Arts Organiser membership comes with the option to buy a heavily discounted insurance package.
