Pavilion Commissions Programme 2008 - Submission Call

Pavilion is offering four emerging photographers the opportunity to develop a new body of work for exhibition at the National Media Museum, Bradford.

Submissions are open to all emerging UK-based photographers who have been active in establishing and profiling their practice.

The selection panel members are: Stefanie Braun (The Photographers' Gallery), Clare Grafik (The Photographers' Gallery), Ruth Haycock (Pavilion), Greg Hobson (National Media Museum) Max Kandhola (Photographer) and Anna Reid (Pavilion).

Survival Strategies for Photographers: An Essential Guide

Rivington Place opens

Rivington Place, the first new-build public gallery in London for 40 years, opens on 5th October 2007 with a show by Manchester photographer Dinu Li, and work by Leticia Valverdes, Mona Hatoum, Keith Piper and Harold Offeh. The building is a new home for Autograph ABP and Iniva, and as well as a gallery features The Stuart Hall library and also a publicly accessible archive and research centre for culturally diverse photography.
