Contrast is an exhibition of contemporary photography highlighting analogue formats and techniques. Bringing together artists from across the North West that use analogue photography in their work, from polaroids to hand-coloured prints, and in some instances combining analogue and digital processes.

The studio is set-up as a affordable venue for beginners, amateur and semi pro photographers, also students, camera club members and senior citizens will qualify for further discounts. Proof will be required !
I also offer time for shoots providing I can use the images to promote my web sites
Group shoots, Tutoring in lighting, Portraiture,Fashion, Wedding and Fine art nude at outdoor and indoor locations are offered.
The studio has a working area of 900sq ft with 2 shooting areas and will have use of all lighting, backgrounds and soft boxes, brollies, reflectors etc.

A Family Of are eight Manchester based photographers. The nature of A Family Of is to produce work as a true collective. There will be no individual authorship of work:- all images are a product of the collaboration, working in this way raises questions and challenges ideas around re-appropriation, copyright and the nature of collaborative work.

Brighton Photo Fringe is pleased to launch Open 2011 in partnership with Metro Print and Phoenix Brighton.
Open to everyone everywhere, Open 2011 will be an international platform that enables artists and curators to work together to explore the possibilities of photography and exhibition formats.
Selected curators will work with Mentor curator Charlotte Cotton (writer and curator, Creative Director, National Media Museum, London) to develop an exhibition in dialogue with the selected artists.
