January 2012 sees a group of photographers known as 'New Vision' come together to exhibit in the centre of Manchester. The exhibition runs from Monday 16th January 2012 right through to Sunday 22nd of January and the venue is 4 Piccadilly Place, Manchester M1 3BN. Entry is free and there will be photographers on-hand each and every day to discuss the work as well as walk and talk you through the exhibition. More →

The Altogether is the latest exhibition by the artist Chris Coekin. Over the past five years he has been visiting and producing artwork in a factory manufacturing copper wire based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
The exhibition is a multi-layered project that investigates the notions of art, work and struggle. Along with a series of staged photographic portraits, Coekin has produced music sourced from the factory floor and pressed on to seven-inch vinyl records which visitors can listen to. More →

American Power at Open Eye Gallery is the American photographer Mitch Epstein's first solo show in the UK.

Believing is Seeing introduces seven Korean artists who adopt different approaches to contemporary photography or photography-based work.
The term ‘Junsinsajo’ is used in Korean portrait painting, meaning the replication of a person’s shape and spirit. Through various image-making processes, this idea endures in contemporary photography through the rendering of a model’s shape, personality and capturing of their spirit, as well as physical likeness. Believing is Seeing features artworks that are based on Junsinsajo and question the notion of ‘Koreanness’. More →
