FABRICATE is a collective of photographers and photographic artists.
It originated from Redeye's Lightbox project in 2012, when the group came together with a common interest in exploring the boundaries of fact and fiction in photography.
FABRICATE's first group show titled 'If Truth Be Told…', will be exhibited at Fallout Factory gallery in Liverpool from 17th May until the 16th June. More →
Searching is a photography book ‘curated’ by Google Images.
The book is a visual translation of the selection made if you search on Marc Provins. One book is being donated to each of the libraries in central Liverpool. Maps are being distributed around the city to help people find them. The title of this work refers to search engine technology, it is also a reference to being a photographer and the constant scanning of the world, thirdly it refers to the process of searching the stock of a physical library, in this instance for a book entitled Searching. Possessed, a participatory art project for LOOK/13, explores the role of possession within the context of life histories and the role of the photograph as significant archival document. Inviting the public to join in, the exhibition will act as a participatory swap shop, offering photos in exchange for possessions.

The project is a series of intimate domestic studies about home decoration and personal taste.
At a time when the predominant trend has been to decorate a home in a ‘neutral’ palette, these images focus on the homes of William Morris admirers who have chosen to decorate their environments with his designs. Few other designers inspire such dedication and passion and for the majority of the homes photographed, decorating with Morris designs is an extension of personal and political beliefs. More →

Taken from the 1980s onward, the photographs explore the body, reinvent still-life, examine our cultural identities and explore the places where we live, work and spend our leisure time.
