The Royal Photographic Society has announced a whole host of bursaries to support new projects for members and non-members.

These include:

Environmental Awareness  £6,000 – The Royal Photographic Society in partnership with The Photographic Angle offers two, one-year bursaries to support a photographic project that will promote environmental awareness. - Closing 31st May 2017
 

Joan Wakelin Bursary £2,000 – Administered by The Society in partnership with The Guardian. The Joan Wakelin Bursary offers £2000 for the production of a photographic essay on an overseas social documentary issue.– Closing 16th June 2017
 

Postgraduate Bursary £3,500 – As part of The Society’s remit as an educational charity they offer an annual bursary of £3,500 in support of a postgraduate student studying in the UK or abroad. - Closing 30th June 2017
 

Short Film Award £2,000  – The RPS is delighted to be working with Watershed and DepicT! in offering an award for the best cinematography amongst its shortlisted films. - Closing 3rd July 2017
