National Geographic contributing photojournalist with a strong focus on human rights campaigning is looking for a part-time assistant and office manager based in Manchester, UK. Robin Hammond needs someone willing to work approximately 10 hours a week. Schedule will have to work around photographer's travel. Must have an interest in photography, be highly computer literate, organised, flexible (work hours are not fixed and depend on workload and when the photographer is in the country), reliable, willing to take on a diverse range of tasks. Some understanding of the technical aspect of photography is advantageous. An interest in world affairs is desirable. Tasks include helping run the photographers diary, accounts reporting, pre-assignment preparation, delivery of images, post job workflow including backing up images, social media management, assisting with photographers not-for-profit organisation, liaising with clients. May suit someone early in their photography career. Scope for growth. Paid position.
