Deadline:

The Forge is looking for two multi-talented photographers/artists, who share their belief that the arts can transform children’s lives and to help lead their exciting new Talking Cameras school-based programme. Funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation, and developed from our previous Paul Hamlyn Foundation funded work, this new Talking Cameras project will explore how photography and digital literacy approaches can help support pupils in SEND settings.

This is a three-year research project, which is being developed in partnership with a specialist educational setting on two sites in Northumberland: Blythdale and Ashdale. Please note that this commission is to find two photographers to develop and deliver the first year of the programme, however contracts may be extended to support years two and three of the programme. While they are happy to accept joint applications, they'd also encourage individuals to apply.

The fee for each artist for leading year one of the programme is £15,000 (60 days at a rate of £250 per day).
