This summer Foam presents a major exhibition of work by Ron Galella, pioneer of paparazzi photography.
The exhibition features photos of stars including Mick Jagger, Jackie Onassis, Greta Garbo, Brigitte Bardot, Marlon Brando, Andy Warhol, Sean Penn, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Penélope Cruz and many more. Andrew Wiard has spent a lifetime chronicling radical campaigns in photography. For his first exhibition 70 iconic images have been selected from five decades of protests.
From the first Asian women-led strike at Grunwick in 1976, through the fight against Murdoch at Wapping, the poll tax riot, trade union struggles and environmental campaigns, right up to the student protests of today.
This is Andrew's first retrospective exhibition. It is held at the Karamel Gallery at the Chocolate Factory, where Andrew's studio is based. More →

Veasey creates the art works by using x-ray technology to expose the inners of a variety of objects.
The subjects can be small everyday items such as shoes, phones and dolls or large items such as buses and planes which require industrial x-ray facilities. Whilst the images at first glance look simple, many are in fact complex collages made up of many x-rays that are painstakingly put together. This allows the viewer to see things from a new perspective, from the inside out, an aspect not seen before. More →

Street Life marks the official opening of Oriel Colwyn, a new gallery space situated above the recently regenerated Theatr Colwyn in Colwyn Bay.
