ON ASSIGNMENT - PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE ON EASDALE ISLAND IN 2024 with Colin McPherson and Adam Lee with 10% off for Redeye Members. Three-nights accommodation, two full days practical, hands-on, supported photography tuition – and delicious, home-prepared food in a unique island environment.

The 'On Assignment' course offers photographers of all abilities the perfect opportunity to combine a relaxing and stimulating environment while learning how to tell a story through images. The course is fully inclusive, with accommodation, home cooked meals and tuition, support and guidance included in the price. Participants will stay on Easdale, the smallest permanently-inhabited Inner Hebridean island in two beautifully-appointed traditional cottages. The island, which is accessible only by passenger ferry, was the centre of Scotland’s slate-mining industry in the 19th century. Today, it has around 65 permanent residents.

There are just six places available on each course, and participants will stay on the island for three nights. Easdale Island is close to the town of Oban which has good rail, road and bus links from outside Argyll. Once you arrive on the island, all you need to do is relax and develop your photography skills. All levels are catered for, and the course offers participants the opportunity to create their own photo story about the island during their stay.
