The exhibition will showcase twelve emerging photographers from around the world, each chosen by an internationally acclaimed panel of judges; Martin Parr, Nadia Lee Cohen, Pavel Buchler, Graham Nash and Nicola Shane each selected the finalists from more than 100 submissions made via Instagram, across 20 countries. The first year's theme is "Solitude" aiming to showcase different ways solitude can be expressed through the medium of photography.
Founded by recent University of Manchester graduate Henry Palling, Lenz Festival will take place at The Great Northern from 24th November until 10th December.
