The fifth FotoDoks Festival for contemporary documentary photography takes place in Munich, Germany in October 2012, and includes lectures, discussions, workshops, exhibitions and tours. This year the partner country is the UK.

The theme for 2012 is ACHTUNG?! – respect, control, change. The festival opens at 19:00 on 17 October at Munich City Museum and features photographers and speakers including Simon Norfolk, Christoph Bangert, Anastasia Taylor Lind, Jacob Holdt, Thomas Seelig, Jocelyn Bain Hogg and many others, as well as the ZEITmagazin Photo Award 2012.

Events are either free or cost €6. Various venues show work for the opening, and the show at Munich City Museum continues until 25 November 2012.
