Annie Leibovitz's series WOMEN was first published in 1999. Her new solo exhibition WOMEN: New Portraits provides an insight into the changes in the roles of women today, combining her work from the original series with a selection of new images she has taken since.

"It is extraordinary to do this work for UBS on a subject that I really care about. It is such a big undertaking and a broad subject it is like going out and photographing the ocean."  Annie Leibovitz

Making witty, powerful images documenting popular culture since the early 1970s, when she worked as a photojournalist for Rolling Stone. In the 1980s she began expanding her collective portrait of the social landscape with photographs for Vanity Fair and then Vogue and in award-winning advertising campaigns. Leibovitz is the recipient of many honors. She has been designated a Living Legend by the Library of Congress.
