The Female Gaze exhibition at Village showcases the work of seven established and emerging female photographers each with a strong and distinctive style allowing the broad stretch of contemporary photography to be portrayed and examined.

The Female Gaze is a month long programme of events organised together by The Hyde Park Picture House and Village Bookstore & Gallery, celebrating the work of exceptional female photographers past and present, as well as exploring the notion of ‘positive discrimination’ in photography through text and discussion.
