Blind Spot collective presents Stranded, a participatory art project that revisits the stories of Royal and Merchant Navy seamen and women who served in Battle of the Atlantic operations during the Second World War.

Coinciding with the 70th Battle of Atlantic commemorations taking place in Liverpool (24 -27 May) and the LOOK/13 International Photography Festival (17 May - 15 June), Blind Spot will exhibit a series of large scale photographic works at The Mersey Planet Light Vessel, Canning Dock East from 17 May to 15 June 2013.

The resulting artwork examines the poignant lives, stories and shared identities of war veterans living in Britain today.

This collaborative photography project is a result of the Redeye Lightbox programme.
