About
Workflow. It’s a compulsory element in every photographer’s skill set, yet it’s something that is a frequent problem for many. How do you import, keyword, caption, store and back up digital photos? Which software should you use? Should you use cloud services? What happens when support ends for software or file formats? Will other people be able to locate photographs from your archive?

Almost every photographer has a different approach that works for them – variations around cataloguing, metadata, tagging and using databases to name a few. We will start by presenting the results of a survey on this subject, that will highlight the difficulties people face and the solutions they use, and the top tips gathered.

Then it’s over to you. We'll invite people to give a quick run through of their own workflow, and highlight questions, problems, dilemmas. Someone is bound to have an answer. It’s an informal evening of sharing knowledge over a drink.
