Redeye Peer Groups

3 February 2014, 00:01

One of the best ways to test your work, get feedback and build your knowledge is with a peer group. This is a small group of people at a similar stage to you in their careers. If you would like Redeye to help you set up such a group, please register here.

Why is this a good idea? Some of the best photographers operate with support from a peer group. A group can solve problems quicker, and can refine ideas to improve them. It can offer a better, more robust critique of your work than individuals. As the anthropologist Margaret Mead said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Please note that this service is only open to Redeye members. You will need to join Redeye, and log in to this site using your username and password, before registering your interest.

Please register below as soon as possible, and by 2 February 2014 at the latest. We will then send you a questionnaire and some suggested dates for your first meeting.

Please note that if you are not logged in as a member, you will not see the registration button below.

We will do our best to match you with an appropriate group, we will host a first meeting, and will be on hand to sort out any problems. After the initial meeting the group will need to be self-organising. We cannot guarantee 100% success but will try and help you join a different group if necessary.
