Staff Changes at Redeye

Richard Evans moves on after eight years; and welcome to two new staff

We're delighted to let you know that we've made two new appointments at Redeye.

Alex Hodby is taking over this month as office administrator. She replaces Richard Evans, who after more than eight years of sterling service is taking the opportunity to expand his other role as Creative Industries Coordinator at Trafford Council, and also devote more time to writing (he's working on his fourth novel). Many of you will have met Richard and experienced his unfailingly professional, polite, humorous and unflappable manner. We're sure you'll join us in wishing him all the best for the future.

Alex has recently moved to Manchester from Newcastle, where she ran the collaborative studio Platform Projects. Before that she was a curator at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

We've also appointed Petra Hoschtitzky on a short-term research and development contract. Petra is also special projects co-ordinator at Blank Media Collective, works as an independent designer-maker, and previously worked at Sotheby's and Christie's in London.
