Redeye is the North West England Photography Network, and welcomes discussion on any topic connected with photography in the region and beyond. In order to keep forums good-natured and useful, please follow these rules. If you don't agree with the rules, then please don't post messages here. If you don't observe the rules, you might find your messages deleted or even your access to the forums suspended.
1 Law
The content of any message posted is solely the responsibility of the poster. Messages that break any law are not permitted.
2 Be useful and relevant
Please post in the correct forum, and try to stay on topic. If you're posting a new topic please give a descriptive title (e.g. say "Advice needed on submitting work to a photolibrary" rather than just "Help needed"). If you need to edit or delete a message you must explain why, if somebody has already answered it. More info on this in "Forum Guidelines".
3 Be polite
Messages that are inaccurate, abusive, insulting, obscene, threatening, rude, or invasive of a person's privacy are not permitted.
4 Not wanted
Spam, hurtful personal comments, nonsense, libel, flaming and profanities will be removed.
5 Copyright
Don't post material if you don't own copyright. Please note Redeye might refer to or quote from your messages elsewhere in its communications.
6 Who are you?
Please use a real name or sign your posts with at least a first name. If you have an interest in (i.e. stand to benefit from the increased use of) any company or product you are recommending, please declare your interest. It would be helpful if you would fill in your occupation and country (location) in your user profile. Keep signatures short (two lines maximum).
7 Complaints
Don't post comments about the appropriateness of another user's post. Instead, use the "report" button.
8 Special rules
There are special rules if you are posting to the Work Offered and Sought, Small Ads and Announcements forums. Please check the forum description and any rules posted at the top of each forum.
