I see that Apple Mac have released the new version of "Aperture 3" on last Tuesday(09/02/10) and on face value I am really interested in it.
How many of you guys use a Mac for your photography and will you be upgrading?
Also what do you think of the new facilities?

I use Aperture for about 80% of my photography, though PhotoShop still gets a run out.

Will probably upgrade to 3 (I've used version 1 and 2).Though none of the new features make it essential.

I think Aperture (or Adobe LightRoom) are the most efficient way to work if you take more than a few digital photos, but you really need to spend some time properly learning how to use them.

I regularly use Aperture. I went to a demo of version 3 at the Apple store the other day. I think the improvements are very worthwhile.. It now allows you to do a lot more editing in Aperture which you previously had to use photoshop for. This saves creating duplicate files. It also has face recognition, which I initially thought was a bit gimmicky but thinking about it could actually save a considerable amount of time.

I decided to invest in Aperture 3 and have obviously installed it. Upto now I have found very user friendly and the facilities it has to offer meet my requirements superbly.
So far so good!!
My only problem at present is that there is not a 100% accurate print driver for the Epson 4800 Pro, however a friend has temporarily sorted this for me.
