The next Network Meeting is 7pm, 17th October at the Open Eye Gallery, Wood St, Liverpool. The speaker is Peter Carr who documents people, urban environments and local landscapes. His work has been published worldwide and exhibited in various galleries including Tate Liverpool, the Open Eye Gallery and Albert Dock.

Peter will discuss the HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques he uses in his photography. With HDR, it is possible to create an image that is closer to what the human eye sees.

In addition, he will also cover photoblogging - a growing trend amongst photographers is to have a professional site and a photoblog. This allows them to easily update one site while maintaining a professional portfolio on the other.

The network meetings are free and open to all, feature the latest news plus the chance to meet with with other photographers and Redeye staff.
