At this month's critique, we welcome guest panellists Clarissa Corfe, Relationship Manager in Visual Art at Arts Council England, and photographer and lecturer Ben McDonnell in addition to Redeye's Director Paul Herrmann. 

‘Photographs from Another Place’ presents a found archive alongside contemporary images, taken in response to the people and places found through examination of the archive. Join us for a tour of the exhibition and to hear Alan discussing his process of working with the archive.

A professional development programme in Manchester for artists, makers and photographers. Collaboratively developed and delivered by a-n, Castlefield Gallery, Manchester Craft & Design Centre and Redeye, the Photography Network. Four full-day sessions will be led by arts sector experts, focusing on core business skills: writing, pitching, project management and promotion.

The second in our series of Come and Chat events will be based around the topics of Training and Access.

1. Access, anxiety, diversity, difficulty: how can we make sure the full range of voices is heard in photography? Which ones get squeezed out?

Hothouse arrives in Liverpool in partnership with LOOK Photo Biennial for a day-long celebration of photographic talent. Throughout the day there will be quick-fire presentations from photographers about their recent work and projects, which will drill down to the substance and inspiration behind a project. Get involved - apply to present, plus there is ample opportunity for networking and to show your portfolios and books.

It’s a chance to reflect on their photographic careers in parallel to Redeye’s lifespan. The second session in the series sees Joy Gregory invite Ronan McKenzie.
