29 June 2018 to 8 July 2018

'Act of Possession' incorporates elements of visual image, video and design.

Created in response to a clothing and cultural phenomenon; the Tracksuit, it takes the 1986 release by RUN DMC of ‘My Adidas’ as its contextual starting point.

The exhibited images, form a fragmented narrative, re-appropriated from a forgotten world of 'Video Home System' recordings. They seek to draw upon a myriad of social, political and cultural references, alluding to the influences and wider implications the year of 1986 has had on the world we live, and the stories we tell today.
