HIP Photography Festival is an annual event that celebrates physical art form and recognises the cultural importance photography holds. It is a digitally accessible event for professionals and amateur photographers to immerse themselves in the world of photography at a globally recognised event. Photographers involved gain support, develop their skill set and have the chance to showcase their work alongside the best in the world.

HIPfest provides a rich cultural mix, offering a month long festival of photographic memories for both young and old, with an exciting first weekend of exhibitions, lectures, workshops, product demo’s & photo opportunities. This is followed by a programme of exhibitions, discussions, lectures & workshops lasting through the month. The festival will begin on the 30th September 2017, with exhibitions across the city of Hull. Locations will include the Hull International Photography Gallery, St Mary’s Church, Hull Central Library, Hull Western Library, Bransholme Library, Fred Moore Library, Kardomah94 and  the decks of Princes Quay Shopping Centre.
