The Royal Photographic Society and The Photographic Angle: Environmental Bursary 2024

The Royal Photographic Society in partnership with The Photographic Angle is offering a 1-year bursary to support a photographic project that will promote environmental awareness. Applications are invited from anyone living or studying in the United Kingdom with a talent for taking photographs and an interest in the environmental concerns that we face today. Deadline to apply is 15 July 2024.

Les Recontres d'Arles and LUMA Foundation: Open Call - Dummy Book Award 2024

Les Rencontres d’Arles and the LUMA Foundation are once again offering the LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award, a prize to help publish a book model. Initiated in 2015 and endowed with a production budget of €25,000, this award is open to professional photographers and artists using photography, upon proposal of a book model that has never been published. Special attention will be paid to experimental and innovative editorial forms. The deadline for applications is May 10, 2024.

Are you a visual artist based in the North of England, UK passionate about unravelling the layers of our shared colonial past and its impact on contemporary culture? Contested Desires: Constructive Dialogues (CDCD) is an opportunity for two artists in the North of England to take part in an international programme that brings together artists, cultural organisations, and communities to delve into the complexities of our colonial legacy. Deadline to apply is 7 May.
